Maverick Staffing is looking for a proactive and energetic Houseman (Houseperson) to support our housekeeping team in the DFW area. You will be responsible for the logistics behind the scenes, ensuring that Room Attendants have the supplies they need and that public areas remain spotless. Key Responsibilities:

• Collect dirty linen from housekeeper carts and transport it to the laundry area. Distribute clean linen and supplies to floor closets.
• Vacuum hallways, clean elevators, sanitize stairwells, and maintain the lobby area.
• Collect trash and recycling from housekeeping carts and dispose of it in the main dumpsters/compactors.
• Deliver extra towels, pillows, or amenities to guest rooms promptly upon request.
• Assist in moving furniture, flipping mattresses, and setting up roll-away beds or cribs.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues (broken lights, leaks) to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in any field is required. Previous experience in Hospitality, Retail, or Customer Service is preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background: Must have a clean professional background with no negative employment records.
• Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, push heavy carts, and stand/walk for the entire shift.
• Strict punctuality: tardiness with no justification will not be tolerated.
